A Vivek High School delegation comprising of 20 students from Grades 8th to 10th attended the Strawberry Field’s High School MUN Conference from 21st to 23rd July 2023.
The delegates passionately deliberated on the various agendas like, “Criminal Accountability of UN Peacekeepers”,” Russia Ukraine Conflict”, “CHIPS Act and Federal Laws with special emphasis on School Shootings”, “Sudan Refugee Crisis”, “Economic Implications of Global Inequality Trends with special emphasis on Debt Traps” and “The Use of Lethal Autonomous Weapons and Military Drones by Countries with a special emphasis on Emerging AI-based Weaponry”
Throughout the SFHSMUN Conference, our delegates demonstrated impressive diplomacy and negotiation skills, engaging in thoughtful debates and forging alliances.
Shabeg Singh Pannu (X D) represented John Fetterman in US Parliament Upper House Senate and won Best Delegate Award.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience for the delegates as few of them participated for the first time.
