A delegation of 7 students namely Navya Singla, Gunika Ahuja, Aarya Jaidka, Radhika Chawla, Dia Lekhi, Armaanbir Singh Boparai and Mithil Goyal, accompanied by Mrs. Anu Sharma attended the Gold Award Ceremony, 2024 at India International Centre, Delhi on March 27. Maehar Kaur Parkar also recipient of the IAYP Gold Award. However, she could not attend the ceremony.
Radhika Chawla shared her experience of the journey along with her views on “What after Gold?”. She shared the learnings of the program and how it helped shape her personality. Her speech was greatly appreciated by the audience as it left everyone with a sense of inspiration and a zeal to grab every opportunity.
After the speech, the delegation was facilitated with the gold badges and a kit by the honorary Chief Guest Mr. Edwin K Kirmani and the National Director Mr. Kapil Bhalla. Our school got a special mention for extraordinary volunteer work during the program. This made the teacher and delegation very proud.
The entire program instilled in us a sense of perseverance and commitment to self-improvement. Going up the stage and being praised after hard work during the journey made us feel very accomplished.
