On 12 April 2024 the students and staff of Senior Wing Vivek High School, Chandigarh celebrated Baisakhi with great zeal and enthusiasm. A special assembly was held by the Punjabi department to mark the occasion. The celebrations began with a presentation and a poem explaining the significance of the day by class 10 Students. Throughout the presentation, the students drew parallels between the founding principles of the Khalsa Panth and the aspirations of those who lost their lives in Jallianwala Bagh. They underscored themes of courage, sacrifice, and resilience, illustrating how these values resonate across different moments in history.
The whole school came alive with a brilliant Bhangra performance by Class 11 and 12 Students which was the highlight of the programme.
