21 Students participated in the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round held at KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from June 24 to 29, 2024. Within the theme “Re-imagining the Present” the students explored the topics in science, social studies, arts, literature, history, and current affairs. They competed against 230 teams from 33 countries. The event comprised FOUR events- Scholar’s Bowl, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Team Debate.
City Tour and Historical Malacca tour enabled them to explore the beautiful city. It was indeed a great learning experience for them as they got a chance to make lots of new friends and came home with alpacas and many medals.
Their spectacular performance helped SIX teams out of Seven qualify for the Tournament of Champions to be held at Yale University in the United States in November 2024.
