Vivek High School, Chandigarh organised ‘One Child One Plant’ campaign in August 2023. This initiative aimed to create awareness among students and the community about the environment. The campaign was conducted under the supervision of the Principal, Eco Club in charge and its members.
The campaign involved the participation of students from classes 4 to 12, who not only planted sapling in the school premises but also took the initiative to plant saplings at their homes and in their neighbourhoods. The students planted a variety of sapling like that of Amla, Neem, Guava, Lychee, Mango, Papaya and many more.
The campaign helped in promoting environmental consciousness and fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature.
