A delegation of three students, Shivank Kakkar, Vedansh Rajput and Ayesha Bindal from Class 8,
accompanied by Ms Harpuneet Kaur ,participated in the 6th Annual Junior English Debating
Invitational Cup,2023 at The Doon School, Dehradun from November 16 to November 17, 2023.
It was a mega event with 16 participating teams from the prestigious schools.
The Debate team made it to the Semi-Finals and ranked third out of 16 participating teams. It was
great opportunity for them to compete and rub shoulders with the finest debaters at the school
level.
Ayesha Bindal was adjudged The Best Speaker in Preliminary Round 1 and 4, and the Most Promising
Speaker in Round 2. Vedansh Rajput was adjudged The Best Speaker in Preliminary Round 2,
whereas Shivank Kakkar was declared The Best Speaker in Preliminary Round 3 and the Most
Promising Speaker in Round 1.
